BHF History
Welcome to the story of the BHF Baguio Group of Companies.
Dr. Generoso B. Mendoza, Jr. and Emelda Bonifacio-Mendoza, both from Dagupan, saw a spark of opportunity in Baguio City. Even though they were far from home, and there was no assurance that the business would succeed, they took a chance. A bold leap of faith that would shape generations.
In 1992, their vision came to life. The BHF Baguio Pawnshop and Gemline Center opened its doors. Not just as a business, but as a symbol of trust and service.
From a single flagship store, BHF began to grow, branch by branch. Each new location was a testament to their commitment and belief in the power of perseverance.
In 2018, BHF Gemline expanded in Bacolod, making it the only branch outside Luzon.
As the years passed, BHF expanded beyond finance and jewelry, venturing into food and beverage, hospitality, and furniture. Each new brand carried the same spirit of excellence and care.
